BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors of GMD2 play a vital leadership role in overseeing the responsible management and protection of the Equus Beds aquifer.

 

Comprised of locally elected representatives from across the district, the Board brings together agricultural producers, municipal stakeholders, and other water users to guide policy, review water rights and usage, and ensure that groundwater resources are conserved and used efficiently.

 

Their work is essential to balancing current water demands with the long-term sustainability of one of central Kansas’s most valuable natural resources.
